Job summary

The ideal candidate holds a NY LNHA license, a bachelor’s degree (master’s preferred), and has at least 1 year in a long-term care setting with strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred in business, health care administration, public health or related area.
• Current NY State LNHA certification is required.
• Minimum 1 year of long term care facility experience preferred.
• Strong work ethic, initiative for quality and customer service, and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervises all clinical and administrative staff and functions within the facility.
• Develops and implements facility management systems and budgets.
• Ensures compliance with Federal, State and company policies and regulations.
• Oversees recruitment, orientation, and performance evaluations; enforces policies.
• Coordinates inspections and quality assurance activities; maintains resident rights.
