Job summary

Lakeside Health & Rehabilitation Center in Richmond, VA is seeking an experienced Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA) to lead our skilled nursing and rehab community. The role focuses on resident-centered care, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence to deliver compassionate, high-quality outcomes.

The ideal candidate has a VA LNHA license, a Bachelor's degree in a related field, and proven leadership, with a preference for a Master's degree and prior long-term care success.

Qualifications

• Virginia LNHA license required
• Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Nursing Home Administration, Business Administration, or related field
• Master's degree preferred
• Previous leadership experience as an LNHA in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting strongly preferred
• Demonstrated success in regulatory compliance, census development, financial management, employee engagement, and quality improvement
• Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

• Provide overall leadership for daily facility operations
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations
• Drive quality measures and survey readiness
• Lead financial performance, budgeting, and operational efficiency
• Recruit, develop, and retain exceptional department leaders and staff

• Build strong relationships with residents, families, physicians, referral partners, and the community
