Civita Health is seeking an experienced Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA) to lead the Danbury facility in Connecticut. The role focuses on ensuring high-quality resident care, regulatory compliance, and strong operational oversight across clinical operations, staffing, and budgets.

You will partner with nursing leadership and department heads to maintain care standards, recruit and retain staff, manage the budget, and engage residents and families.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration or related field.
• Strong knowledge of nursing home operations, regulatory requirements, and quality standards.
• Proven leadership and team-building abilities.
• Ability to manage budgets, staffing, and operating priorities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the overall operations and administration of the nursing home.
• Ensure compliance with federal and Connecticut state regulations and applicable healthcare standards.
• Partner with the Director of Nursing and department leaders to maintain high resident care standards.
• Recruit, develop, motivate, and retain qualified employees.
• Monitor staffing, scheduling, labor costs, and operational performance.
• Develop and manage the facility budget and financial objectives.
• Maintain relationships with residents, families, physicians, employees, vendors, and community partners.
• Prepare for and participate in regulatory surveys and inspections.
