Currently seeking an experienced, full-time Nursing Home Administrator to join the leadership team and help guide the continued excellence of care and operations.
Job Responsibilities:
- Maintain overall responsibility for facility operations, including availability during off-hours and weekends as needed
- Foster a workplace culture that aligns with the organization’s mission and values
- Ensure ethical business practices are upheld consistently across all departments
- Develop and implement a Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) plan in accordance with regulatory guidelines
- Monitor standards of care and quality indicators, integrating outcomes into ongoing quality improvement processes
- Collaborate with the Medical Director to ensure licensed independent practitioners are properly credentialed and compliant with applicable regulations
- Participate in root cause analysis and corrective action planning for any quality measures that fall below expectations
- Delegate appropriate authority and responsibility to staff members to support effective operations
- Ensure resident rights are respected and embedded in all aspects of care and services
- Take an active role in incident investigations, documentation, reporting, and follow-up
- Oversee recruitment, selection, and hiring processes to ensure all budgeted positions are effectively staffed
- Lead monthly recruitment and retention initiatives, and implement programs to improve employee retention
- Ensure full compliance with federal and state employment laws, including EEO, child labor laws, immigration regulations, and wage and hour requirements
- Supervise coaching, counseling, and disciplinary processes in accordance with established policies
- Participate in employee terminations and ensure they are handled in compliance with legal and internal policy requirements
- Monitor census data, payer mix, and acuity levels to meet or exceed budgetary goals
- Maintain expense control within budgeted guidelines and utilize financial tracking tools to manage supply and departmental costs
Requirements
- Bachelor Degree in health care administration, business administration or related field
- Licensed NHA by the state of New Hampshire or eligible for reciprocity
- Two years of experience working as a Nursing Home Administrator or two years of experience in a supervisory capacity in a health care facility and successful completion of an AIT program
- Competitive yearly salary of $140k/yr plus bonus
