Job summary

Montello Care Center seeks a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator to lead our 50-bed skilled unit and 14-bed CBRF with heart and strategy. You will supervise operations, uphold quality care, and engage with residents, families, and regulatory bodies to ensure excellence.

You’ll drive culture, mentor staff, and maintain compliance while guiding financial performance and continuous improvement across the campus.

Qualifications

• Licensed Nursing Home Administrator in good standing or compliant with licensure requirements.
• Ability to lead daily operations and strategic goals for the facility.
• Experience with CMS/state regulations and survey readiness.

Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee daily operations of the nursing facility.
• Develop and implement strategic goals and operational plans.
• Lead Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Manage budgets, revenue cycle, and financial performance.

Qualifications

• Leadership and Operations

Must be a licensed Nursing Home Administrator in good standing and/or meet all applicable federal and state licensure requirements

• Direct and oversee the daily operations of the nursing facility.
• Ensure the facility provides quality resident care in accordance with regulatory standards and organizational policies.
• Develop and implement strategic goals, objectives, and operational plans.
• Foster a positive culture focused on resident satisfaction, employee engagement, and quality outcomes.
• Serve as the primary representative of the facility with residents, families, regulatory agencies, healthcare providers, and community organizations.
• Regulatory Compliance
• Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations governing long‑term care facilities.
• Ensure compliance with Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) requirements and state licensing regulations.
• Lead survey readiness efforts and coordinate responses to regulatory inspections and audits. Be able to create a plan of correction for deficiencies.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures to maintain regulatory compliance.
• Financial Management
• Prepare, manage, and monitor facility budgets.
• Oversee revenue cycle operations, including census development and reimbursement management.
• Analyze financial reports and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and financial performance.
• Monitor expenses and ensure responsible stewardship of facility resources.

Quality Assurance and Resident Care

• Lead Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) initiatives.
• Monitor quality indicators and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Ensure resident rights are protected and upheld.
• Collaborate with clinical leadership to improve quality outcomes and resident satisfaction.
• Investigate and address resident or family concerns promptly and effectively.
