Job summary

Maplewood Health Care Center in Jackson, Tennessee, seeks a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator to lead daily operations of the skilled nursing facility in compliance with all regulations and corporate policies.

The LNHA will oversee census management, fiscal health, and interdepartmental coordination with corporate support, ensuring high-quality resident care and regulatory readiness.

Qualifications

• Current unrestricted Nursing Home Administrator license for the state of Tennessee.
• Experience in a supervisory role in a healthcare related environment.
• Knowledge of nursing home regulations, procedures, laws, and guidelines pertaining to long-term care.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Health Administration (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Lead, guide, and direct the operations of the SNF in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations as well as follow corporate policies and procedures.
• Work with corporate support to oversee, audit, and maintain compliance in all departments within the facility.
• Focus on census and occupancy management, maintaining and improving the fiscal health of the facility.
• Lead and coordinate management team meetings discussing census, collections, clinical health, survey readiness, customer service satisfaction, activity participation, etc.
• Ensure resident incidents and concerns that rise to a reportable event are reported to the correct entity within the state regulatory requirements.
• Maintain confidentiality of protected health information, including verbal, written and electronic communications.

LNHA Position Summary
