Job summary

Southern New Hampshire Health seeks an LNA – Geropsychiatric Unit (GPU) to assist in direct and indirect patient care under RN supervision. You will perform activities of daily living and support care delivery for 65+ patients with cognitive impairment and psychiatric illness.

The role requires NH LNA licensure, ability to obtain BLS during orientation, and completion of aggression de-escalation training. We offer comprehensive benefits and a sign-on bonus where applicable.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required.
• Current New Hampshire licensure as LNA required.
• Ability to obtain BLS certification during orientation and maintain during employment.
• Aggression de-escalation training approved by EHS.

Responsibilities

• Activities of daily living
• Report all observations, symptoms, deviations from normal, and changes in patient’s condition to RN
• Provide basic support to patients and families
• Documents in selected areas of the medical record as appropriate
