Job summary

Pleasant Valley Nursing and Rehab Center is hiring Licensed Nursing Aides (LNAs) to join our caring team in New Hampshire. You will provide compassionate care, assist with daily activities, and participate in an interdisciplinary care approach to support residents and patients.

We offer competitive pay up to $31.50/hr, 8-hour shifts, and a range of benefits including overtime opportunities, referral bonuses, and employee recognition programs.

Qualifications

• Current NH certification as Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) is required.
• Effective verbal and written English communication is required.
• Strong attention to detail and high level of organization are essential.
• Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and bend/stoop as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), personal hygiene, meals, and medical care needs.
• Participate in care plans and collaborate with residents and families to maximize independence.
• Perform vital sign checks and routine medical and social care monitoring.
• Support residents with meaningful activities aligned to preferences and abilities.
• Participate in committees and work with other departments to maintain high care standards.

Responsibilities of the Licensed Nursing Aide (LNA):

• Assist short-term patients and long-term residents in accomplishing activities of daily living (ADLs), personal hygiene, medical care needs and meals.
• Join in care plan interventions and work with residents and their family members to attain and maintain the highest level of independence and maximize participation in their day.
• Perform vital sign checks and participate in other routine monitoring of medical and social care needs.
• Support patients and residents with meaningful activities that match their preferences and abilities.
• Participate on various committees to share feedback and participate with other departments to create the highest practicable quality of care standards.

Requirements of the Licensed Nursing Aide (LNA):

• Current certification from state of NH
• Current/active CPR certification, preferred.
• Effective verbal and written English communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy, excellent organizational skills with ability to prioritize, coordinate and simultaneously maintain multiple projects with high level of quality and productivity.
• Able to stand and/or walk for more than four (4) hours per day.
• Able to bend and/or stoop for more than one (1) hour at a time.
