The position emphasizes infection control, quality improvement, and high standards of patient care within policy guidelines. You will supervise staff, coordinate care with physicians, educate families, and ensure timely administration of medications and treatments.

Formación

• Currently licensed as LPN/RN in state.
• One-year prior nursing management experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Demonstrates knowledge and appropriate use of the Infection Control Manual.
• Participates in implementing the Quality Improvement Program.
• Uses the Quality Life Manual for patient placement and monitoring.
• Notifies other departments of patient changes (room changes, LOA, new admits, discharge).
• Conducts family and patient education.
• Administers medications Timely and according to facility policy.
• Administers treatments Timely and according to facility policy.
• Receives, transcribes, and carries out physician orders when allowed by Nurse Practice Act.
• Makes rounds with physicians when necessary.
