Job summary

Healing Grounds Wellness Center in southern New Jersey seeks a fee-for-service licensed clinician (NJ) with experience in couples counseling. This hybrid role allows virtual and in-person sessions and offers scheduling flexibility to build your own client base.

Candidates must hold a Master’s degree and NJ licensure (LSW, LCSW, LPC, LAC or LMFT) and be bilingual in Spanish. Pay ranges from $60 to $100 per hour, with supervision options and EMR support.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a Master’s degree in psychology, counseling, social work, or a related field.
• Bilingual in Spanish with experience in Couples / Marriage Counseling.
• Meet all NJ state license requirements.
• Excellent interpersonal communication and active listening skills.
• Strong relationship-building and compassionate attitude.
• Attention to detail and time management.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Willingness to stay updated on treatments and licensure requirements.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular appointments with patients seeking therapy with a mental health professional.
• Establish positive and trusting relationships with patients.
• Implement various treatments and protocols to guide and address patient situations.
• Continually assess patient situations and provide ongoing treatments.
• Educate and involve family members or loved ones when necessary.
• Record and maintain timely, accurate notes in the EMR system.
• Refer patients to outside sources or agencies as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality of each client situation and keep licenses current.
• Implement couples counseling interventions and have experience with couples and individuals.

Healing Grounds Wellness Center

Healing Grounds Wellness Center is currently searching for a fee for service therapist (LSW, LCSW, LPC, LAC or LMFT) to add to their practice to help with counseling services. Experience in Marriage or Couples Counseling is a must. Help is needed at this thriving practice in southern New Jersey.

Healing Grounds Wellness Center, is a place where healing begins from the beginning of the phone call and the consultation process. We believe in a holistic eclectic approach; Emotional, Physical, Mental, and Spiritual. Our staff provides Clinical services and Christian counseling per request.

We are seeking someone who is compassionate, independent, passionate and highly self-motivated to provide the best possible therapeutic services in helping individuals and/or couples, as you build your own book of business. Schedule is flexible and can be adjusted to fit your personal needs to achieve a suitable work/life balance. You manage your own hours and set your own schedule.

Therapist Duties and Responsibilities

• Conduct regular appointments with patients who wish to receive therapy with a mental health professional
• Establish positive and trusting relationships with patients

• Continually assess patient situations and provide the proper ongoing treatments
• Educate and involve family members or other loved ones in the treatment process when necessary
• Record and maintain timely, adequate, accurate ,and good notes about patient visits in our electronic medical record system
• When required, refer patient to outside sources or agencies that can better address their specific needs
• Maintain confidentiality of each and every client situation
• Maintain all required licenses and the appropriate insurance
• Implement couples counseling interventions and have experience working with couples and individuals.

Therapist Requirements and Qualifications

• Minimum of a Master’s degree in psychology, counseling, social work, or a related field.
• Be able to provide a Holistic approach as some clients are seeking a Christian component in addition to Clinical services.
• Meet all necessary state license requirements for NJ
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills with the ability to actively listen
• Solid relationship-building capabilities
• A positive and compassionate attitude
• Keen attention to detail
• Ability to effectively manage time and prioritize needs
• Willingness to stay updated on new treatments, protocols, and licensure requirements within the field.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team

Location: Hybrid (Virtual and In-Person )

• Competitive rates set by the practice
• Administrative support
• LSW/LAC: Rates: $60-$80.00 fee for service rate
• LCSW/LPC: Rates: $75-$100.00 fee for service rate
• Supervision: LAC and LSW: Group and individual supervision is provided at no extra cost to you.
• EHR provided free of charge by practice
• Flexible schedule: 10 hours minimum. Make your own schedule.
