Mental Health Therapist, Counselor or Psychologist - Flexible Telehealth Position

Brightside Health is revolutionizing mental healthcare by delivering life-saving, virtual care to those who need it most. Our care model combines precision psychiatry with advanced therapeutic techniques, delivering exceptional outcomes for individuals facing mild to severe depression, anxiety, and other mood disorders.

Using an evidenced-based Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) counseling approach, our patients complete live video sessions with their therapist as well as self-guided video lessons outside of session. With Brightside’s innovative care model, 86% of our patients are feeling better in 12 weeks.

Brightside therapists also have the option to receive free training in the Collaborative Assessment and Management of Suicide (CAMS) to treat patients with elevated risk for suicide. Therapists will also have the opportunity to work with our Teen Therapy program and our MH and SUD Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOPs) launching in the coming months.

Your Role as a Mental Health Therapist at Brightside:

1. Provide weekly evidence-based care through live video sessions to individual adults.
2. Collaborate with Brightside psychiatric providers and fellow therapists.
3. Monitor and adjust treatment plans based on symptom self-assessments and progress measures.
4. Maintain timely clinical documentation through our user-friendly therapist portal.
5. Create your own schedule, Monday - Sunday, 7 am to 9 pm.
6. No on-call work.
7. Free CEUs and training in CAMS.
8. Malpractice coverage.
9. Health Insurance personalized plan recommendations through Stride Health partnership.

What We’re Looking For:

1. Master’s or doctorate degree in clinical psychology, counseling, or clinical social work from an accredited program.
2. An independent license in the state where you reside (e.g., LCSW, LMFT, LMHC, LPC) from the USA.
3. Experience working with higher risk populations and/or adolescent population.
4. Licensed independently as a Therapist, Counselor or Psychologist for at least 1 year.
5. Preferably 2 years of recent experience providing cognitive behavioral therapy to individual adults.
6. Must welcome treating all populations and committed to delivering culturally responsive care.
7. Tech-savviness and enthusiasm for integrating digital solutions into clinical practice.
