Job Details

Position: Part-time, providing in-home and center-based therapeutic services for youth with mental health disorders in Northern New Jersey.

Pay Range: $45.00/hr - $75.00/hr, based on experience and skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide individual, group, telehealth, and outpatient center therapy sessions.
• Perform bio-psycho-social assessments (training provided if needed).
• Support youth in developing coping skills, anger management, and reducing risk behaviors.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and document all clinical activities accurately and timely.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Family Therapy, or related field (e.g., LSW, LAC, LFT).
• Clinical Mental Health Trauma Counseling training.
• Willingness to complete Crisis Intervention training.
• Experience working with youth with mental health disorders, including treatment planning and assessments.
• Knowledge of DSM-V for assessments and diagnosis.
• Availability for 6-10 hours/week during after-school hours (12 noon - 8 pm); weekend flexibility preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.

Additional Notes

License registration with NJ Marriage & Family Therapy Board required (PA, NY, NJ licenses accepted). Candidates should reside within 25-30 minutes of designated service areas.
