Qualifications

• Must hold a current active professional license in Virginia and/or Maryland or be eligible by hire.
• Master's or doctoral degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or related field.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and ethics.

Responsibilities

• Conduct culturally sensitive, strength-based assessments for new clients and families.
• Provide outpatient individual and family therapy.
• Develop crisis plans, safety plans, relapse prevention plans, and wellness plans.
• Participate in case consultations and discharge planning.
• Ensure timely billing, documentation, and insurance authorization forms.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, dietitians, administrative staff, and therapists for holistic care.
