Job summary

Carroll Counseling, part of the Optum family, seeks a Licensed Clinical Behavioral Therapist to join our Severna Park, MD team. You will treat a wide range of mental health conditions and document care in compliant EMR systems, with support from a broad Optum national network.

You will work with a diverse patient population, using CBT, DBT, and other evidence-based methods while pursuing ongoing professional development and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in psychology, social work, or a related counseling field.
• Clear, active and unrestricted license (Maryland) LCSW, LCSW-C, LCMFT/LMFT, LCPC or LPC.

Responsibilities

• Screen and assess patients for mental health and substance use disorders.
• Provide treatment using CBT, DBT, and other evidence-based approaches.
• Track treatment response and monitor symptoms and side effects.
• Maintain EMR and regulatory compliant documentation.
• Contribute to marketing by providing provider profiles for online directories.

Education
