Job summary

Carroll Counseling in Severna Park, MD, seeks a Licensed Clinical Behavioral Therapist to join the Optum Behavioral Care team. You will assess patients, provide therapy (CBT/DBT), and track outcomes while maintaining compliant EMR records and contributing to patient growth initiatives.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in psychology, social work, or related counseling field.
• Clear, active, and unrestricted license (LCSW, LCSW-C, LCMFT/LMFT, LCPC, or LPC) in Maryland.
• 2+ years of post-master's experience providing behavioral health services.
• Experience providing direct psychotherapy services to individuals, couples and families.

Responsibilities

• Screen and assess patients for common mental health and substance abuse disorders.
• Provide treatment for mental health conditions using CBT, DBT, and other evidence-based methods.
• Track treatment response and monitor symptoms and side effects.
• Maintain accurate EMR and clinical documentation in compliance with regulations.
