Wellpath seeks a Licensed Mental Health Professional working in a correctional facility to provide intake evaluations, therapeutic interventions, and suicide prevention techniques, developing treatment plans.

You will monitor caseload, conduct staff training, document findings, and ensure care aligns with policies. The role demands compassion, collaboration, and commitment to serving inmates with dignity.

Qualifikationen

• Master's degree in a mental health discipline (SW/ Counseling/ Psychology or related).
• 1+ year of experience in a Mental Health treatment program (correctional or hospital setting preferred).
• Unrestricted, current license in state of practice (LCSW, LMFT, LPC, LMHC, Psychologist).

Aufgaben

• Conduct screening, assessments, and triage for inmates and recommend level of care.
• Develop and implement treatment plans with psychoeducational groups and suicide prevention.
• Respond to sick call requests and coordinate with prescribing providers for medication evaluations.
• Provide crisis intervention and manage caseloads with multidisciplinary teams.
• Train staff on relevant mental health topics and document findings in health records.
