Qualifications

• Master’s degree from an accredited program.
• At least 1 year of experience in mental health counseling.
• Licensed in the state of Texas.
• Valid Texas Driver’s License and transportation access required.
• Clear background check and TB test prior to employment.
• Pre-employment drug screening is required.
• Completion of mandatory trainings as provided by policy.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with medical professionals to evaluate clients’ needs.
• Refer clients to community resources to meet needs.
• Counsel clients to overcome dependencies and adjust to life.
• Monitor, evaluate, and record client progress per treatment plan.
• Modify treatment plans as client status changes.
• Organize support groups and train staff when needed.
• Provide EAP counseling to staff and referrals from partners.
