Job summary

A Better Way Therapy, part of the Optum family, seeks a Licensed Independent Mental Health Practitioner (LIMHP) to join our Omaha, NE team. The LIMHP will assess and treat a diverse patient population using evidence-based methods and maintain compliant documentation throughout care delivery.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in psychology, social work, or a related counseling field.
• Clear, active and unrestricted LIMHP in the state of NE.

Responsibilities

• Screen and assess patients for common mental health and substance use disorders.
• Complete Nebraska Medicaid Initial Diagnostic Interviews (IDI) for clinicians not independently licensed and provide oversight with supervisor.
• Provide treatment using CBT, DBT, and other evidence-based methods.
• Systematically track treatment response and monitor symptoms and side effects.
• Maintain accurate EMR and documentation in compliance with regulations.
