Job summary

Qualifications

• Current NC license as LCMHC, LCMHCA, LCSW, LMFT, or LPA.
• Bilingual English/Spanish skills are required.
• Ability to work and communicate effectively with staff, volunteers, clients, and the public; maintain records and reports; fluent English and second language as required.

Responsibilities

• Provides professionally licensed mental health counseling services within agency standards and care guidelines.
• Completes intake documentation, assessments, treatment plans, progress notes within 48 business hours, and discharge summaries.
• Maintains an active caseload and meets productivity standards per agency outcomes.
• Participates in supervision, case conferences, and staff meetings for collaborative care and compliance with licensure standards.
• Maintains continuing education to maintain North Carolina licensure.
• Participates in Quality Improvement activities (file audits, HIPAA, security trainings).
• Develops and leads community education, enrichment, or therapy groups as directed.
