The organization serves the Lacey/Olympia area while also expanding access to care through remote services.

Role Description

The Licensed Mental Health Counselor will provide remote, contract-based counseling services to clients via secure telehealth platforms. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting intake assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and delivering ongoing psychotherapy to clients with diverse mental health needs. The counselor will maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation, coordinate case management as appropriate, and collaborate with other providers when needed to support continuity of care. The role also involves monitoring client progress, adjusting therapeutic interventions, and upholding ethical and legal standards of professional practice. This is a contract role with flexible scheduling, performed entirely remotely.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated expertise in Mental Health and Psychology, with the ability to apply evidence-based therapeutic approaches.
• Strong skills in Treatment Planning and Case Management to develop, implement, and coordinate individualized care.
• Experience in Relationship Counseling, including work with couples, families, and interpersonal dynamics.
• Active licensure as a Mental Health Counselor (or equivalent) in the relevant state, in good standing.
• Proficiency with telehealth platforms, secure documentation systems, and basic digital communication tools.
• Excellent interpersonal, listening, and communication skills, with a commitment to culturally responsive, inclusive care.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage a caseload, and maintain professional boundaries and confidentiality.
• Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field; relevant clinical experience strongly preferred.
