Job summary

The Salvation Army Kroc Center is seeking a Licensed Mental Health Clinician for the Pathway Forward Program in Chicago. This exempt, full-time role reports to the Clinical Administrator and offers a competitive salary range, with responsibilities including diagnostic assessments, treatment planning, and evidence-based therapies.

You must hold an Illinois LCPC/LPC or LCSW and a master's degree, plus at least two years of mental health experience and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• IL LCPC/LPC/LCSW license required; master’s degree in psychology, mental health counseling, or social work preferred.
• Minimum two years of experience in mental health treatment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform mental health assessments, develop treatment plans, document progress and termination reports.
• Conduct CBT and other evidence-based therapies; document sessions and communications.
• Coordinate referrals for psychiatric evaluation and MAT; liaise with psychiatrists and treatment teams.
• Engage in family counseling as clinically appropriate and involve significant others.
• Attend regular supervision and maintain credentials including CPR/First Aid/AED.
