Job summary

Arbors at Gallipolis is seeking a Licensed Medication Aide (MA-C) to coordinate and administer medications for residents at our Gallipolis facility. You will supervise clinical staff and ensure accurate documentation of treatments and orders.

The role requires a valid Medication Technician certification for Ohio, CPR certification, and about one year of nursing experience. This on-site position includes a range of benefits and daily duties aligned with state regulations.

Qualifications

• Valid Medication Technician certification in the state employed.
• Valid CPR certification.
• One year experience in nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Documents the resident's condition and nursing needs.
• Implements physicians' orders accurately and promptly.
• Supervises, directs and evaluates junior staff and CNAs.
• Administers medications and performs treatments for assigned residents, documenting treatment as required by rules and regulations.
• Participates in orientation and in-service training for personnel.
• Assists physicians with tests and procedures within Nursing Practice Act.
