Qualifications

• Active PE license is required.
• 3–5 years of mechanical/plumbing engineering experience.
• Strong knowledge of plumbing engineering principles and codes.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop domestic water, sanitary, stormwater, natural gas, fire protection, and specialty piping systems.
• Perform hydraulic and engineering calculations including pipe sizing, pressure loss, and flow rates.
• Prepare plumbing layouts, construction drawings, specifications, schedules, and technical documentation.
• Ensure designs comply with IPC, NSPC, IFGC, ASPE, and NFPA standards.
• Incorporate LEED/WELL green building requirements and coordinate with other disciplines.
• Review shop drawings, submittals, RFIs and provide technical guidance.
