Atlantic Constructors Inc. is seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer for our Modular Manufacturing division in Virginia. The role requires independent work with occasional field collaboration and support across our fabrication and construction teams.

You will develop designs, create drawings, and coordinate with stakeholders to ensure compliant, cost-effective solutions for projects of varying size.

Qualifications

• Licensed Professional Engineer in Virginia (or able to obtain).
• 5+ years of experience in a commercial construction environment.
• Proficient in HVAC, mechanical utility, and piping systems design.

Responsibilities

• Develop construction drawings and write construction specifications for medium-complex projects.
• Model facility elements in AutoCAD and Revit MEP, including MEP FP and structural components.
• Coordinate with project stakeholders and communicate system selections and codes.
• Perform load calculations and assist in design reviews and value engineering.
