Job summary

Equinox is seeking Licensed Massage Therapists in California who provide multimodal manual therapy and movement-based approaches. This role offers long-term career growth, competitive pay, and access to educational opportunities from top instructors within a high-end wellness environment.

Position supports both part-time and full-time schedules, with opportunities for bonus income through commissions and member engagement.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid CA license or certification.
• Experience of at least one year may lead to elevated compensation.
• Ability to generate new business and retain clients by providing treatment programs.
• Evening and weekend availability (part-time and full-time).
• In-depth understanding of anatomy and movement in relation to soft tissue manipulation.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
• Willingness to learn and maintain positive energy.
• Computer literate.

Responsibilities

• Performing 25, 50, 80, and 110-minute deep tissue, sports, prenatal and Swedish massages in a professional setting.
• Analyzing client needs and creating a programmatic treatment plan.
• Ensuring the room is cleaned after each treatment and at shift end.
• Stay compliant with state regulatory boards regarding intake forms, waivers, and SOAP notes.

The Licensed Massage Therapist’s job responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

• Analyzing client current needs and creating a programmatic treatment plan
• Ensuring that the room is cleaned after each treatment and at the end of each shift
• Remain compliant with all state regulatory boards in regard to intake forms, waivers, and SOAP notes

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid CA license or certification
• Candidates who are licensed and have been working in the field for at least one (1) year may be considered for an elevated compensation package.
• Ability to generate new business and retain clients by providing treatment programs
• Evening and weekend availability a must (Part-time and Full-time positions)
• In depth understanding of anatomy and movement in relation to soft tissue manipulation
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills
• Willingness to learn and positive energy

Pay Transparency

$39.50-$43.50/session; $18.47 /hour (non-session work) and ability to earn bonus
