Job summary

Equinox is seeking Licensed Massage Therapists to join our Santa Monica East location. We offer a multimodal approach to manual therapy, moving toward movement science, with long-term career potential, competitive pay, and ongoing education.

Positions include part-time roles with evening and weekend hours. Pay transparency is provided, and opportunities exist for elevated compensation for licensed therapists with experience. A supportive, high-standard work environment awaits.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid CA license or certification.
• Evening and weekend availability required.
• 1+ year massage therapy experience preferred; licensed candidates may be considered for elevated compensation.

Responsibilities

• Perform 25, 50, 80, and 110-minute massages (deep tissue, sports, prenatal, Swedish) in a professional setting.
• Analyze client needs and create a programmatic treatment plan.
• Ensure the therapy room is cleaned after each treatment and at shift end.
• Remain compliant with state regulatory boards regarding intake forms, waivers, and SOAP notes.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Performing 25, 50, 80, and 110-minute deep tissue, sports, prenatal and Swedish massagesin a professional and comfortable setting
• Analyzing client current needs and creating a programmatic treatment plan
• Ensuring that the room is cleaned after each treatment and at the end of each shift
• Remain compliant with all state regulatory boards in regard to intake forms, waivers, and SOAP notes

QUALIFICATIONS & ATTRIBUTES

• The successful candidate must have the following attributes:
• Must possess a valid CAlicense or certification
• Candidates who are licensed and have been working in the field for at least one (1) year may be considered for an elevated compensation package
• Ability to generate new business and retain clients by providing treatment programs
• Evening and weekend availability a must (Part-time and Full-time positions)
• In depth understanding of anatomy and movement in relation to soft tissue manipulation
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills
• Willingness to learn and positive energy
• Ethical

Pay Transparency: $39.50-$43.50 per session; $18.47/hr (non-session work) and ability to earn bonus
