Equinox Sports Club DC is seeking a Licensed Massage Therapist to provide multimodal manual therapy at our Ritz-Carlton West End location. The role emphasizes deep tissue and sports massage with a focus on mobility and recovery, offering part‑time opportunities and pathways for growth within a premium wellness environment.

Qualified candidates hold a valid DC license or certification and bring excellent client care, professional communication, and a commitment to ongoing learning.

Qualifications

• Valid DC license or certification.
• Proven ability to develop and retain clients with treatment programs.
• Strong understanding of body anatomy and movement in relation to soft tissue.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform 25, 50, 80, and 110‑minute deep tissue, sports, prenatal and Swedish massages in a professional setting.
• Analyze client needs and create a programmatic treatment plan.
• Ensure the room is cleaned after each treatment and after each shift.
• Remain compliant with state regulatory boards for intake forms, waivers, and SOAP notes.

The Licensed Massage Therapist’s job responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

• Perform25, 50,80, and 110-minute deep tissue, sports, prenatal and Swedish massages in a professional and comfortable setting
• Analyzeclient current needs and creating a programmatic treatment plan
• Ensure that the room is cleaned after each treatment and at the end of each shift
• Remain compliant with all state regulatory boards in regard to intake forms, waivers, and SOAP notes

The successful candidate must have the following attributes:

• Must possess a valid DClicense or certification
• Ability to generate new business and retain clients by providing treatment programsEvening and weekend availability a must (Part-time and Full-time positions)
• In depth understanding of anatomy and movement in relation to soft tissue manipulation
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills
• Willingness to learn and positive energy
• Ethical

Pay Transparency: Full-time practitioners working an average number of 20 hours per week per pay period can potentially earn ~ $45,000-$65,000
