Job summary

Equinox on Wisconsin Ave is seeking a Licensed Massage Therapist to deliver deep tissue, sports, prenatal and Swedish massages in a premium wellness setting. The role offers part-time and full-time options with evening and weekend availability and competitive compensation.

The candidate must hold a DC license, develop treatment plans, maintain a clean room, and document SOAP notes while building strong client relationships and contributing to exceptional client experiences at Equinox.

• Must possess a valid DC massage license or certification.
• Evening and weekend availability.
• Experience with deep tissue, sports, prenatal and Swedish massage is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform a range of massages including 25, 50, 80, and 110-minute sessions.
• Analyze client needs and create a programmatic treatment plan.
• Ensure the treatment room is cleaned after each session and at the end of each shift.
• Remain compliant with state regulatory boards regarding intake forms, waivers, and SOAP notes.

The Licensed Massage Therapist’s job responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

• Performing 25, 50,80, and 110-minute deep tissue, sports, prenatal and Swedish massages in a professional and comfortable setting
• Analyzing client current needs and creating a programmatic treatment plan
• Ensuring that the room is cleaned after each treatment and at the end of each shift
• Remain compliant with all state regulatory boards in regard to intake forms, waivers, and SOAP notes

The successful candidate must have the following attributes:

• Must possess a valid DC license or certification
• Ability to generate new business and retain clients by providing treatment programs
• Evening and weekend availability a must (Part-time and Full-time positions)
• In depth understanding of anatomy and movement in relation to soft tissue manipulation
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills
• Willingness to learn and positive energy
• Ethical

Pay Transparency: Full-time practitioners working an average number of 20 hours per week per pay period can potentially earn ~ $45,000-$65,000
