Job summary

BlueStar Resort & Golf seeks a Massage Therapist to deliver a range of massage techniques and create a calm, healing environment for clients. You will report to the Spa leadership and collaborate with the fitness and events teams to support guest wellness.

The role requires state licensure, a customer-service focus, and the ability to work evenings and weekends. Competitive hourly pay plus commissions applies, with benefits available for full-time staff.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year customer service and massage experience preferred.
• Must complete state requirements for licensed massage therapist.
• Maintain current licenses and state/local certifications.
• Participate in CEUs if required by the state for license renewal.
• Able to explain and promote treatments, services, and products.

Responsibilities

• Deliver massage therapy and create a healthy, stress-free environment.
• Maintain professional practitioner-client relationships and ethics.
• Assess contraindications and customize treatments per client needs.
• Keep client care as priority and engage with clients during sessions.
• Follow health protocols and report incidents as required.
• Perform all listed treatments based on current certifications.
• Know spa services and suggest complementary treatments.
• Create and maintain client records and treatment notes.
• Maintain product knowledge and recommend home-use products.
• Keep a clean, sanitized work area and equipment.
• Adhere to schedule and attend requested meetings/trainings.
• Assist with equipment, furniture, and product storage for events.
