Qualifications

• Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist.
• Proven experience in patient service with excellent communication skills.
• Knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy.
• Expertise in deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and pain management techniques.
• Familiarity with occupational health principles and med spa environments is a plus.
• Strong customer service orientation with the ability to assess patient needs.
• Prior experience in a med spa or wellness clinic preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality massage therapy sessions including deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and other modalities tailored to individual client needs.
• Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand health concerns, pain points, and treatment goals.
• Educate clients on self-care practices and recommend appropriate therapies for ongoing wellness.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of each session, including treatment plans and progress notes.
• Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment that adheres to all health and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive pain management strategies when necessary.
• Stay current with industry trends, new techniques, and continuing education requirements to enhance your skills.
