Job summary

StretchMed Marlborough is seeking an Independent Contractor Massage Therapist to join our wellness team. You will deliver personalized massage therapy services designed to promote relaxation, relieve pain, and enhance overall well‑being while managing your own schedule.

You will document sessions in detail, maintain a safe and hygienic environment, and tailor treatments based on patient assessments and client feedback. A valid massage therapy license and prior med spa experience are required.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid massage therapy license.
• Experience with deep tissue and trigger point therapy.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
• Familiar with pain management and occupational health considerations.
• Excellent customer service and client rapport skills.
• Prior med spa or healthcare setting experience required.
• Ability to work independently as a contractor.

Responsibilities

• Perform professional massage sessions using targeted techniques to address pain and tension.
• Assess clients and understand health histories and goals.
• Develop treatment plans based on anatomy and physiology.
• Maintain detailed session documentation including progress and terms.
