Qualifications

In this vital role, you will deliver professional massage therapy services that promote healing, reduce stress, and enhance overall well-being. Duties

• Perform a variety of massage techniques including Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and other modalities you currently hold
• Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand individual health concerns, medical history, and specific pain points
• Educate clients on the benefits of different massage modalities and recommend appropriate treatment plans for ongoing wellness or pain management
• Maintain accurate documentation of client sessions, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with licensing standards
• Ensure a clean, safe, and professional environment by adhering to sanitation protocols and state regulations
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their goals and provide exceptional customer service throughout each session
• Stay current on industry best practices, new techniques, and relevant medical terminology to enhance client care
• Retain clientele and collect monies when checking clients out

Experience

• Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist with active certification to practice legally
• Proven experience delivering diverse massage therapies such as Swedish massage, deep tissue therapy, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, etc.
• Knowledge of human physiology and anatomy to accurately assess client needs and target areas of pain or tension
• Strong communication skills for effective client consultation and education
