• Educate clients on the benefits of massage therapy and provide guidance on self-care practices for pain management and injury prevention.
• Maintain detailed and accurate client records, including treatment notes, progress reports, and health histories.
• Ensure a safe and hygienic environment by adhering to sanitation standards and maintaining proper equipment usage.
• Communicate effectively with clients about their comfort levels, treatment plans, and any medical considerations using clear client communication skills.
• Stay current with industry best practices by participating in ongoing education related to physiology knowledge, anatomy knowledge, medical terminology, CPR certification, and new massage techniques.

Requirements

• Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist with current certification.

• Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and pain management principles.
