Duties

• Deliver a variety of massage therapies including Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, lymphatic, and occupational health treatments tailored to individual client needs
• Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans based on physiology, anatomy, and pain management goals
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their concerns, explain treatment procedures, and provide post-session recommendations for continued wellness
• Maintain detailed records of client sessions, progress notes, and treatment outcomes in compliance with medical terminology standards and privacy regulations
• Stay current with industry best practices and expand your skill set through ongoing education in areas such as med spa treatments and advanced massage techniques
• Ensure a safe environment by adhering to CPR guidelines and maintaining proper sanitation standards throughout all treatments
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals or occupational health specialists to optimize patient care and recovery strategies

Experience

• Proven experience as a licensed massage therapist with a strong background in various massage modalities such as Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and occupational health treatments
• Demonstrated knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and pain management techniques relevant to therapeutic massage practices
• Prior experience is a must
• Excellent client communication skills with the ability to assess individual needs accurately and build lasting relationships
• CPR certification and additional certifications in specialized therapies or occupational health are a plus
• Familiarity with customer service principles to ensure a welcoming and professional environment for all clients
