Job summary

Cape Cod Skin Care in Barnstable, MA is seeking a Licensed Massage Therapist to join our dynamic wellness team on a commission-based basis, preferably with an existing client base.

You will provide Swedish, deep tissue, and other therapeutic massage, assess client needs, educate on self-care, and maintain accurate records while upholding safety and professional standards in a clinical spa setting.

Qualifications

• Valid state license as a Massage Therapist.
• Proven experience in massage therapy including Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and occupational health treatments.
• CPR certification required; additional certifications such as medical terminology or med spa experience are a plus.

Requirements

• Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist with current certification.
• Proven experience in massage therapy with expertise in Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and occupational health treatments.
• Strong knowledge of human anatomy and physiology related to pain management and client assessment.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and empathetically with clients.
• Ability to perform massages safely and effectively while maintaining a professional demeanor.
• CPR certification is required; additional certifications such as medical terminology or med spa experience are a plus.
• Prior experience working in a medical spa or similar healthcare setting is preferred but not required.
