Job summary

Walmart is hiring a licensed Low Voltage Technician to support installations, maintenance, and upgrades for electrical and communication systems at our Hutchinson facility. You will work with other technicians, engineers, and project managers to ensure projects meet regulatory and safety standards.

The role requires a high school diploma, valid license/certifications in low voltage, and experience reading wiring diagrams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• State/jurisdiction-required license and certification.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass a motor vehicle report.
• DOT physical suitability or medical certification.
• Read and understand blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
• Experience with reading, installing, and testing low voltage systems.

Responsibilities

• Address customer inquiries and concerns professionally and efficiently.
• Ensure installations and repairs follow local, state, and federal regulations.
• Follow safety guidelines to prevent accidents and maintain a safe workplace.
• Maintain accurate records of installations, maintenance, and repairs.
• Evaluate systems to determine upgrades or enhancements needed.
• Perform system upgrades to improve performance or meet new standards.
• Collaborate with technicians, engineers, and project managers for project success.
• Communicate with clients to understand needs and provide solutions.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices.
