Socket.dev is seeking a Lash Technician in New York to join our team. If you're a licensed cosmetologist or esthetician, expand your skills to include lash extensions and brow services and deliver high-quality care.

You will apply lash extensions, educate clients on upgrades, maintain a clean workspace, manage supplies, and build a recurring client base through great service and reliability.

Qualifications

• Cosmetology or Esthetics license required.
• Excellent customer service and ability to work professionally with the public.
• Ability to perform semi-permanent eyelash extensions, tinting, perming, threading and permanent makeup.

Responsibilities

• Apply consecutive eyelash extension appointments during a shift.
• Educate clients about lash upgrades and aftercare products.
• Attend industry events, trainings, and product sessions.
• Maintain a clean, well-stocked eyelash room.
• Be responsible with inventory, supplies, and tools.
• Create and apply client-specific, semi-permanent eyelash extensions.
• Build rapport and create a recurring client base.
• Perform daily procedures and applications to scheduled clients.
• Sign up clients for touch-up appointments.

Job Summary

• Educate the client about lash upgrades and our exclusive aftercare products
• Attend industry-related events, training, and product sessions
• Maintain a clean and well-stocked eyelash application room
• Be responsible with inventory/supplies/tools
• Create and apply client-specific, semi-permanent eyelash extensions
• Build rapport - create a recurring client base for yourself
• Perform daily procedures/applications of our services to scheduled clients at the highest level of quality and care
• Sign up clients for “touch-up” (follow-up) appointments

Qualifications

• A current Cosmetology or Esthetics license is required.
• Excellent customer service skills and ability to work professionally with the public
• Ability to perform semi-permanent eyelash extensions, volume eyelash extensions, lash and brow tinting, eyelash perming, facial threading, and permanent make-up procedures.
