Job summary

IES is seeking a Licensed Journeyman Plumber to perform installation, maintenance, and repair work for residential and commercial projects. The role requires a current Kentucky plumbing license and supports projects throughout Northern Kentucky while reporting to the Amelia, Ohio office. Responsibilities include reading blueprints, measuring and installing components, troubleshooting, and maintaining site documentation. Safety and quality workmanship are emphasized.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous plumbing installation experience preferred.
• Current Kentucky plumbing license required.
• Must meet licensing requirements to perform plumbing work in Kentucky.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair plumbing systems, piping, fixtures, and related equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, diagrams, and work orders to complete installations accurately and efficiently.
• Measure, cut, assemble, and install plumbing components in accordance with project requirements and codes.
• Troubleshoot plumbing issues and assist with identifying and resolving installation or operational concerns.
• Coordinate with field personnel, supervisors, vendors, and internal departments regarding job progress and material needs.
• Maintain accurate work orders, installation documentation, and jobsite records.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety procedures, plumbing codes, and standards.
