Job summary

MB HAYNES Corporation invites applications for an electrician responsible for wiring, installation, and repair of electrical systems. You will plan layouts, follow blueprints, and ensure safe operation of equipment while supervising helpers as needed.

The role requires a valid electrician license, 5+ years of experience, and the ability to work with diverse trades while maintaining high safety standards on site.

Qualifications

• Must pass criminal background check.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Valid City of Asheville Journey Electricians License.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in the electrical field including conduit systems and three phase wiring.
• Capable of supervising one or two helpers or apprentices.
• Must have knowledge of local electrical codes.

Responsibilities

• Plans layout, installs and repairs wiring, fixtures and control equipment.
• Follows diagrams or blue prints for concealed wiring before walls, ceilings, and flooring.
• Tests continuity of circuit for safety and compatibility using testing instruments.
• May repair faulty equipment or systems.
• Ensure safety of self and others on site.
