CURRENT OPPORTUNITY: Licensed Journeyman Electrician

This role involves installing electrical systems in commercial construction sites and small/medium projects. Responsibilities include supervising helpers/apprentices, promoting customer relations, and interacting with clients to meet their needs.

Job Responsibilities

1. Report to the worksite on time, prepared to work.
2. Show willingness to learn and develop electrical skills.
3. Apply electrical and construction principles to solve problems.
4. Complete work per national and local codes, staying current with NEC revisions.
5. Follow company policies and procedures.
6. Meet daily commitments and stay on schedule.
7. Assist with materials, trenching, wiring, and other tasks.
8. Maintain respectful interactions with customers and colleagues.
9. Keep the job site clean and organized.
10. Complete and submit paperwork accurately.
11. Follow safety policies and hold others accountable.
12. Troubleshoot electrical systems, including services, feeders, and circuits.
13. Plan installations to minimize waste, ensure accessibility, and meet safety standards.
14. Follow blueprints and diagrams for wiring and equipment placement.
15. Measure, cut, bend, and install conduit.
16. Splice wires and connect to fixtures and equipment.
17. Install control and distribution devices.
18. Connect power cables and grounding leads.
19. Monitor system functioning and perform repairs as needed.
20. Perform small electrical projects as a service electrician.
21. Travel is required.
22. Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

• High school diploma or G.E.D.
• At least 4 years of electrical project experience.
• Reliable transportation.
• Electrician's hand tools.
• Manual dexterity and multitasking ability.
• Advanced electrical knowledge.
• Valid driver’s license and clean record.
