Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Customer Service/Insurance Sales experience preferred but not required.
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred but not required.
• Hold a valid and current Personal Lines or Property & Casualty License in California
• Must have reliable transportation for daily marketing
• Basic Computer knowledge and strong written, verbal, and people skills
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision and quickly learn any software
• Continuing education courses paid for by A-MAX to maintain license status with CDI

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with various insurance needs: new policies, edits, payments, renewals and reinstatements; answer questions.
• Inspect vehicles and assess eligibility as insurance risk based on condition, age, and characteristics.
• Seek out new clients, generate prospective client lists, and develop clientele through networking and marketing; help develop marketing strategies with office manager.
• Perform administrative tasks and handle policy renewals; coordinate with underwriting to complete policies.
• Assist with daily housekeeping routines.
