Benchmark Insurance Agency in St. Augustine, FL is seeking a Licensed Customer Service Representative (4-40) to join our busy, on-site team.

You will handle client inquiries, process policy changes, renewals, and billing, while maintaining accurate records and supporting underwriting activities. The ideal candidate holds an active Florida 4-40 license, strong communication, and excellent organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Active Florida 4-40 license required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Professional demeanor and confidentiality.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding service to existing and prospective clients.
• Answer and route phone calls, respond to inquiries, and assist with questions.
• Process policy changes and ensure accurate documentation.
• Follow up with carriers for endorsements and policy updates.
• Assist with underwriting, rewrites, re-quotes, reinstatements, and cancellations.
• Obtain underwriting information, signatures, applications, and supporting docs.
• Manage policy renewals and review billing accounts.
• Process customer payments and maintain client records.
• Provide proof of insurance documents as needed.
• Document all interactions in agency systems and support admin tasks.
