Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience and knowledge in Insurance Sales and Insurance products, with the ability to explain coverage options clearly and accurately.
• Background in Insurance Brokerage or agency operations, including handling quotes, applications, renewals, and policy servicing.
• Foundational understanding of Finance concepts related to premiums, deductibles, and coverage limits to support informed customer recommendations.
• Strong Customer Service skills, including active listening, empathy, problem-solving, and the ability to build long-term relationships.
• Valid insurance license (or ability to obtain one as required by California state regulations).
• Effective verbal and written communication skills and comfort with in-person interactions in an office setting.

• Advise customers on appropriate insurance products, including auto, home, life, and other lines of coverage, and provide personalized quotes and policy recommendations.
• Conduct needs-based conversations, process applications and policy changes, handle billing inquiries, and assist with claims-related questions.
• Engage in proactive outreach to prospective and existing customers, follow up on leads, and participate in sales and marketing activities to grow the agency’s book of business.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with insurance regulations in a collaborative office environment.
