Job summary

Webb Property Inspections seeks a Texas Home Inspector to help buyers understand property conditions and make informed decisions. You will inspect residential and commercial properties, document findings, and provide clear reports within 24 hours.

The role offers flexible scheduling, on-the-job training, and weekly pay. Work remotely with occasional site visits within the Austin area and surrounding counties, supporting a top family-owned inspection firm.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid and current (or currently working towards) TREC Home Inspectors license.
• Ability to stand, crawl in tight crawl spaces, walk, climb ladders, roofs, and lift 25 pounds.
• Cell phone with data plan and willingness to learn how to operate a drone.
• Attention to detail and ability to identify potential issues or defects.
• Clean background (federal and state).
• Effective communication skills to clearly convey inspection findings to clients.
• Must not be scared of crawlspaces or roofs.
• Must have or be willing to carry General Liability insurance with a minimum of $1,000,000 in coverage.

Responsibilities

As a Texas Home Inspector, you will play a crucial role in helping home buyers make informed decisions about their potential investment. Your expertise in construction inspection and quality control will ensure that clients have a comprehensive understanding of the condition of the property they are considering. • Company-provided mold, lead, radon, sewer scope equipment and software license provided depending on your license, certification, TREC rules, and state laws.

• Provide recommendation of contractor types for repairs or maintenance based on inspection resultsStay up-to-date with industry standards and TREC regulations to ensure compliance during inspections

• Must have or be willing to carry General Liability insurance with a minimum of $1,000,000 in coverage (costs around $32 a month or what ever the TREC current limits are.).

More:

This job is excellent for employees who want to make the most of their time. You will get paid per job completed. This allows you to do 1 inspection per day for your first 15 inspections. Then you can do 2 a day for the first year. After year one you can choose to do 3 full home inspections per day. Depending on your availability and needs. This can be a perfect part-time to full-time position. You do get to craft your own schedule. You are paid weekly with no hold back time frame. We are perfectly comfortable hiring inexperienced, but credentialed home inspectors.

Proof of TREC home inspectors license and insurance will be requested if you are considered for the opening. The candidate can be located within 50 miles of the listed city on this job requisition. Your home address will be the pin point in the middle of your territory.
