Qualifications

• Must hold current Pennsylvania license as a Hearing Instrument Specialist (HIS).
• Strong clinical and communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive hearing evaluations and interpret results.
• Identify appropriate treatment options based on patient needs.
• Recommend, fit, program, and troubleshoot hearing devices.
• Educate patients and families about hearing loss and communication strategies.
• Develop long-term patient relationships with excellent follow-up care.
• Maintain accurate clinical and patient records.
• Collaborate with Patient Care Coordinators and clinical team.
• Participate in community and physician outreach when appropriate.
• Avoid high-pressure sales; help patients make informed decisions.
• Continue to develop clinical knowledge and expertise.
