Your Day-to-Day

Sugaristas are beauty enthusiasts who love hair removal! Not only will you have the opportunity to sugar in a fast-paced and high-volume environment, but you'll also be able to connect with clients on a personal level. Our team thrives on efficient multitasking – seamlessly blending sugaring expertise with front-of-the-house tasks. At the heart of it all, each store operates like a tight-knit family, ensuring an unparalleled experience for our clients.

Sugarista Responsibilities

• Perform sugaring hair removal services including Brazilian + Bikini and more
• Greet and check-in/check-out clients
• Learn and maintain expert-level knowledge of airbrush tanning + sugaring services, memberships, and all S+B products
• Learn and become proficient in Booker (our appointment booking + processing system)
• Perform side tasks including maintaining cleanliness of lobby and sugaring rooms, restocking products and disposables
• Answer client questions surrounding the sugaring process, services offered, and aftercare
• Respond to client emails and text messages regarding appointments and services

Requirements

• You must be licensed for waxing via a Cosmetology or Esthetician license in the state you’re applying for (Waxing license acceptable in New York)
• Available for two shifts on either: Friday PM, Saturday, and/or Sunday required
• Sugaring experience is a plus, but not required
• Delivering the best client experience possible
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are a must! Correct grammar and punctuation when communicating with clients is essential

Pay Range

Between $18.15 and $45 per hour, depending on location in NYC (Union Square, Murray Hill, Upper East Side, Chelsea, Tribeca, Midtown East, Boerum Hill, Williamsburg, Upper West Side, Carnegie Hill)
