Job summary

Universal Health Services is seeking a Licensed Group Therapist for our Cedar Ridge Behavioral Hospital in Oklahoma City. The role involves conducting group therapy for various patient groups, developing an evidence-based curriculum, and ensuring timely documentation.

You will contribute to a structured treatment environment within an acute psychiatric care setting. The position is full-time, onsite, with opportunities to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and participate in ongoing

Qualifications

• Must hold Licensed Masters Level Therapist or Social Worker with on-site supervision.
• LCSW preferred.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Drug test required.
• Background check required.
• Ability to manage patients physically.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
• Strong computer and communication skills.
• Exposure to psychiatric patients who may exhibit violent or aggressive behavior.

Responsibilities

• Conduct group therapy to meet caseload requirements for Acute or Residential Child/Adolescent and/or Adult patients.
• Develop and/or utilize an evidenced based group therapy curriculum.
• Complete documentation within established time frames and formats.
• Design, structure, and implement group therapy services to best meet patient and facility needs.
