Job summary

Cedar Ridge Behavioral Hospital is seeking a licensed mental health professional to lead group therapy for Acute or Residential Child/Adolescent and Adult patients. Under supervision of the Clinical Services Director, you will implement an evidence-based group therapy curriculum and complete documentation within established timeframes.

You will design, structure, and deliver group therapy services to meet patient and facility needs, collaborating with psychiatrists, nurses, and other therapists

Qualifications

• Licensed Masters level therapist or social worker, or under supervision for license.
• LCSW preferred.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Drug test required.
• Background check required.
• Physical agility to manage patients.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
• Strong computer skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong leadership skills.
• Exposure to psychiatric patients who may exhibit violent/aggressive behavior.

Responsibilities

• Conduct group therapy to meet caseload requirements for Acute or Residential Child/Adolescent and/or Adult patients.
• Develop and/or utilize an evidence-based group therapy curriculum and completing documentation within established time frames and formats.
• Design, structure, and implementation of group therapy services to best meet the needs of patients and facility.
