Job summary

Bellefaire JCB is seeking a Licensed Group Facilitator to join the Child and Adolescent Group Services team in Ohio. You will develop and implement curriculum, manage group treatment, and collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to support youth and families.

The role requires a professional clinical background, experience with children and families, and the ability to coordinate crisis intervention, discharge planning, and parent communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in social work or relevant field required.
• Master’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional clinical services and documentation.
• Develop, implement and manage curriculum and treatment for youth.
• Lead day treatment, IOP, or other groups as assigned.
• Coordinate crisis intervention and discharge planning.
• Maintain client safety and supervision during group sessions.
• Document all progress notes within timelines and ensure compliance.

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Education: Bachelor’s degree in social work or relevant field required. Master’s degree preferred.


2. Licensure: Valid Ohio LSW, or LPC required.


3. Experience: Experience working with children, adolescents and their families.


4. Other: Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license and driving record that meets the underwriting criteria of the Agency’s insurance company. Must be approved by Bellefaire to transport clients in own vehicle.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Licensed Group Facilitator is a member of a multi-disciplinary treatment team and is responsible for the development, implementation and management of curriculum and treatment of youth referred to the Child and Adolescent Group Services (CAGS).

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

1. Provide professional clinical services and documentation thereof, including, but not limited to:
   
   
   
   • Assessments
   
   
   • treatment planning
   
   
   • group treatment
   
   
   • skills building
   
   
   • case management; and
   
   
   • discharge & aftercare planning.
   
   
   
   


2. Complete all clinical documentation, including progress notes, appropriately and within departmental timelines.


3. Provide required amount of delivery hours per week as established by departmental guidelines.


4. Take primary lead of day treatment, IOP, and/or other groups as assigned by the Group Services Supervisor.


5. Understand and execute evidence-based curriculum as assigned.


6. Oversee client activities and be accountable for whereabouts and safety of clients on site during group time.


7. Assist in crisis intervention, problem resolution and process discussions with clients as necessary.


8. Assist with client transportation to and from group programming as needed.


9. Immediately report and appropriately document all major unusual incidents and other events that would trigger an incident report.


10. Partner with other group staff to maintain consistent contact with parents/guardians of clients to provide updates, skills education, and client advocacy.


11. Partner with other group staff to maintain positive relationships with other community providers (such as Ohio Rise and schools) and provide regular communication, updates, and client advocacy.

OTHER DUTIES:

1. Remain current with all training requirements.


2. Attend scheduled staff meetings, supervision, and on-going training.


3. All required trainings, certifications and licensure must be kept current in accordance with applicable licensing and accreditation regulations and standards.


4. Respect the privacy of clients and hold in confidence all information obtained during the client’s treatment. All client-related documents should be handled in accordance with Agency guidelines on confidential material.


5. Maintain high standards of ethical and professional conduct and adhere to Agency policies and procedures.


6. Other duties as assigned by management.
