Job summary

Arcxis Biotechnologies, Inc. is seeking a Florida Licensed Standard Residential Inspector to join our field team in Tampa. You will perform detailed inspections to verify compliance with Florida Building Code and approved plans, and maintain thorough records.

You’ll work with Construction Managers and municipal staff, read blueprints, and communicate findings clearly. A valid FL BN license, 2+ years' experience, and reliable transportation are required; travel within 2 hours is expected.

Qualifications

• Valid Florida Standard Residential Inspector license (BN) or FL Commercial equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of field code compliance inspection experience.
• Ability to read and interpret plans, blueprints and specifications.
• Customer service oriented with strong verbal and written communication.
• Reliable transportation and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed field inspections for compliance with state and local building codes.
• Maintain project records, inspection results and required documentation.
• Communicate findings clearly with clients, residents and stakeholders.
• Develop relationships with Construction Managers and municipal staff.
• Keep knowledge of Florida codes current to ensure compliance.
